What was the highlight of Hotel Whistler - Gare du Nord
A comfortable place for a short stay if the price is right.
Air conditioning was effective and quiet, which was quite important given the outside heat. The shower was powerful and temperature easy to control. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
There was absolutely no soundproofing around the door and I was woken several times by guests arriving and talking to each other in the small hours. Strongly suggest they invest in some kind of isolation between room and landing - new doors? Also a deep rumble in the morning - maybe the trains at nearby Gar du Nord, or the tourist buses parked outside. Breakfast was adequate and included. I felt this was a 3* hotel rather than 4*, especially as we were paying outrageous Olympic prices with no refund available if we hadn't been able to make it.

we enjoyed staying at the hotel Whistler, it is in a great location, has a unique atmosphere, and is also great value wi
Hotel Whistler is in a great location right across from the train station. Also, it has very eccentric but likable decor with the theme of trains everywhere. The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was excellent value.
The rooms were quite small, but it wasn’t a problem as it felt like an authentic Parisian experience.
